It is my believe that MM just do what their customers (us) want them to do.
They can speculate themselves ofcourse , but they can only buy at the ask and sell at the bid.

I've read dozens of MM-plot theory's but nobody has ever given me a thorough explenation on how a MM can hold a run for a long time.

Yeah MMs can very much hold a stock back, they naked short sell the stock over a period of months, then we get a trading pattern like this, stuck at .0004. They usually get away with it because they have enough shares to cover and the SEC gives them time to cover the buy demand which usually isn't that great like in BBDA now.

What happens is eventually they get in trouble when buy demand becomes too great for what they've shorted, usually happens when a stock comes out with great news and volume pours in, and they aren't prepared for it, then they have to cover their positions.

That's why I say something is up lately with all these 5K trades, thats the MMs signal to exchange shares if one MM is short shares.

Not saying that's happening here, but I've seen it in almost every penny, some are shorted way more then others. I don't fully understand it all, but yes pennies get manipulated very easily by the MMs all the time and they get away with it. Hope that helps.
