My bet will be if you pit HHT against interferon+AraC (SOC before gleevec)you will get the same effect. Gleevec became the SOC and only when TKIs fail you go onto chemo for CML. Why would a doctor not try a TKI first before putting patients on painful chemo theraphy? HHT has been around since 1995 and Chemogen basically tweaked the structure slightly to get a patent protection.
