lol, did you think TDA just arbitrarily sent this to their millions of clients.. these restrictions have been going on for years..

that info was sent to me (after my request) as to reasons TDA would "restrict" certain securities as they did EXPH.. contact TDA they will gladly make that info available to you as well..

I contacted TDA and this is the response I got:

Hello and thank you for contacting us about the restriction on purchasing EXPH. This stock is restricted from trading for an indefinite amount of time. Closing Transactions Only are allowed.

Unfortunately I cannot go into detail with you why this decision was made. I can tell you that we take the decision to restrict trading very seriously. While all trading of securities involves risk, sometimes the level of risk associated with a specific security is escalated beyond what is considered reasonable to TD AMERITRADE.
