Dan, I have a lot of respect for you because you have always been fair to me.

This is the question and answer board, so I feel this may be the most appropriate place to ask this question.

We have had many examples of multiple aliases, some simply because they might have had their rights revoked for some reason or the other, but I have seen examples of multiple aliases, who are one and the same even though they have completely different writing styles, which has been verified to me by IHUB staff.

I have been around here for a while, and I am not naive, but I have to ask: what can be done about corporate efforts to naked short stocks through the process of posting scripted negative and well constructed yet unmeritorious arguments on boards.

I have seen it one too many times. I understand your IP address cross reference methods are not perfect, but I am getting frustrated with the potential for abuse.

In a way this is just a concern, because I know your ability to monitor the internet is restricted by the anonymous nature of the beast. But there has to be an answer here somewhere.

It is fundamental to the legitimacy of the site.

The question is, is there a way to effect cross reference checks to include other variables like geographic location, or coorespondence between individuals..... you get the idea.

Or how is this for a novel idea, no anonymity.
