I think charts have their place, but at the end of the day fundamentals is where it's at.

I spoke to a broker about charts the other day and he only uses them after he has done his DD to see if the chart reflects his DD.

If something doesn't line up, then the charts simply tell him to go back over his DD.

We're here daily because we're junkies... no getting around it. I'll probably be gone during the day starting Monday since I got called back to work and they'll finally have an office for me. Real bummer, but have to keep the wife happy.

I day traded a little a few months ago when I was trying to build up a nest egg, but now I just find a good value and load up. I do shift funds around occasionally to help optimize, which is one of the reasons I like to stay current on everything. I think I'm set for the rest of the year, and perhaps a couple more months into next year. QASP looks like it doesn't need babysitting any more...
