Hi 'amile'; You are always welcome to come back. We have 6,000 people in the whole county. Everyone knows everyone, or, at least who they are. Doesn't mean we don't have our own squabbles, like the mining issues.WUCC/CPRK is very important to Beaver County so we either protect it or take issue with it, some times deservedly so..and, sometimes we can be on both sides at the same time! We like the company, but, perhaps we would like to see it operate more openly. However it is just really starting up and it is in perilous times and it seems others want to take undue advantage. When you have something good others want to try to take it away from you, legally or not; such is the way of the world.. (Philosophy 101)/IMO/Candy B

While we may not necessarily agree on press releases and the quality of lawyers, when it comes to Milford you and I have no bones of contention. My friends and I had lunch in the veterans park and simply enjoyed sitting outside and feeling the space.

Another thing that we noticed was the number of closed businesses and the great looking new schools, two I believe. The library is tiny, very tiny, and we understand that it is on the community agenda to build a new larger library on the current site.

I live in my own forest. So you can imagine how different the Milford area looks to me. I've done a lot of desert trecking and am no stranger to harsh environments from Death Valley to the top of Whitney. Nevertheless, it is beautiful country and a lovely town that will benefit greatly from the prosperity brought in by Copper King Mining. I find the very thought of it to be exciting............
