Thanks. US brokers tend to give much more preferential rates to US citizens. Whereas for us whilst using a US broker the deals are never as atractive certainly in regards to share purchases. Personally i use a TD Waterhouse international account. Most OTC stocks can only be dealt with by phone, the cost of which is £25 ( buy & sell ) However all other US / canadian / European trades can be done at £12.50 a pop online which is pretty cheap IMO

TD waterhouse is good in that you can also trade shares in your ISA online although not all china OTC stocks can be traded or deposited in it

Regards CCZ, possible alternative ticker, t.ccz, is a very safe play & they have over several years always done what they have set out to do.
