bugsplat - I've been in it since they were private, summer 2001. It's the real deal. I have become friends with the CEO, COO, and IR (soon to have new title), as well as met and spoken with original and current inventors (names are on patents). I own shares ranging from .09 to 1.92. Have done well playing the swings. This has been a story stock, up with good news or events (2003 blackout) drift on no news.
China deal has been in works for 3 years. State Power of China came to them. State Power is of course the country/govt of China. They want the cable. The original MOU was complete a couple of years ago. The company State Power set up for CTC to enter in to JV in Jiangsu. Jiangsu President/owner invited to Communist Party Congress to speak and be honored as great example of how to be a private businessman in China. Jiangsu wanted to be able to export out of China. CTC wanted a model where they set up JV in various regions of the world with protected rights. It took a long while to overcome. New MOU released a few months back with actual contract now being written. The basic contract is finished, now writing detail to cover all expected business scenarios. Should be done by Xmas. This venture alone could be 60-70 million straight to the bottom line for CTC.
Since the last MOU the stock refuses to drop. It can no longer be played with hope of declining PPS. If you intend to go deeper you will not be burned. I have brought about 45 people in to this stock on private offerings as well as open market. Almost all have not sold even though we all have a minimum of 4x gainer. Those who have sold have only covered their position or warrant purchases.
