#82520 RE: headcounselor #82515

It's been several months since I checked in with the CKYS board. To think I almost missed the fun. The last 40 or so posts have been some of the best reading I can remember in a long time. The dominos are falling and guilty parties are finally being identified.

I quit Cyberkey about 30 days before Plant announced his DHS contract to the world. Right after confirming that there never was a Lockheed-Martin contract as Plant told us there was, I called Big Apple to warn them that Plant was dirt. Those arrogant SOB's blew me off like I was crazy. Heaton knew it. He confirmed for me that the Lockheed-Martin contract didn't exist. But he didn't seem to care either. Both Heaton and BA continued on as though nothing ever happened.

The Kodak contract was another gem that Plant refused to provide details about. As I remember it, Plant claimed he had $5 million check from Kodak for Cyberkey to do R&D for a secure imaging product using flash memory devices. Plant claimed he had a connection at Kodak who had gotten him the contract. However, he claimed that Kodak had called him while the check was in the mail to tell him not to cash it until they confirmed the project was a go.

I had strong doubts about this as no company as big as Kodak writes a check without complete internal authority to begin a project. Of course, I never saw the check, and neither did Heaton, the CFO. Supposedly, Plant had it and was storing it in his desk until he could cash it. I was 98% sure this story was made up, but I gave Plant the benefit of the doubt until the Lockheed-Martin deal turned out to be false also.

Looking back on it, I wonder if Plant was testing to see how much he could get away with. By the time he was done, he had surronded himself with the greedy, the stupid, those with low self esteem, and those who cared only for a paycheck. He had successfully eliminated anyone intent on thinking about honestly building a business. Plant may be a crook, but he's not stupid.

So now the greedy and the corrupt are going to pay. I have no idea why Plant is in jail while his accomplices are walking around, but perhaps a criminal charge will come later. It can be a little Christmas present from the Feds to the Cyberkey shareholders.
