Loanranger: I can't tell you what the legal basis is for companies in the greys not filing with the SEC but none of them file anything once they go grey. All you get from greys is pumping PRs. But, SPNG has seemed to keep up with 8Ks. But if you go look at companies like IMJX you'll see they just don't file anything but PR's. I've often thought this should be changed because they also seem to keep selling shares and upping the OS w/o the shareholders knowing a thing. Maybe we can slip it into the Obama Healthcare bill.
