I have the common sense solution to the illegal immigration problem in this country and I'm going to share it with you all right now.
Whenever you mention sending them all home some idiot will undoubtedly tell you "it's logistically impossible to deport 20M people". This is true. I would not want to see any type of government Gestapo force put together by this administration or any future one capable of rounding up 20M people. So, what's the answer then? It's very simple.
if the standard of living for illegal aliens is lower here than in Mexico, they will leave on their own
We'll give them amnesty alright.. for six months. You have six months to pack up and go home. After six months... no more welfare checks, kids don't go to school, bank accounts are siezed, credit cards are shut off. The government could decide to agressively enforce the law and go after employers levying fines so draconian against them it would threaten to put them out of business. Problem solved, right?
Wait for it... wait for the idiot to chime in...
"But, they do the jobs Americans won't do man... so uh... "
Ok, this is TOTAL BS... Americans WILL DO the jobs that illegals do, just not in the same conditions. No One on this planet should have to work for sub-minimum wage and be denied overtime. There are plenty of out of work people who would gladly wash dishes in a restaraunt 65 hours a week but not for $5.00/hr with no overtime.
It's estimated that 4.9% of the American workforce is made up of illegal aliens. If they all went home that could effectively cut the official unemploymennt rate in half and increase state and federal income tax revenues by having legal workers who now actually pay their taxes.
Not to mention the fact that illegals are exporting billions of dollars per year out of the country by sending money back to Mexico.
So let's sum it all up:
1. We can and should send all the illegals home.
2. We can put a serious dent in the unemployment problem by putting Americans back to work.
3. We can now collect taxes on 5% more of the working population
4. Money earned in the US will be spent in the US possibly, just possibly stimulating the economy.
It's time for the idiot to chime in again.... "You're just a racist man....".
You see, here's where it breaks down to a mindless ad hominem attack. Since they can't attack the position, they attack the person.
This is Wrong. I'm of Italian heritage but I wouldn't support bringing all of Sicily here to water down my wages, collect welfare, export our wealth, and the dodge the very same taxes that I am required to pay myself.
So, there you have it. The SOLUTION. It's easy and effective. Send it your Congressman and demand it be implemented! Say HELL NO to this Amnesty Bill!
