Wow. There is a familiar name from the past.
No, not Hector or Richard, I mean mingwan0.
Haven't heard from you in years. How are you doing. It has been very quiet and boring here since you left. You and I had some interesting head banging episodes back then.
Now that the game is over and the mess has been swept up, would you care to share your opinions about what actually happened?
You were one of the very early investors. You are a very bright guy and you are conversant with the technology. You clearly saw something of value back in the early days, as well as many of the rest of us.
After some of us became disillusioned with the management and thought that it was using the technology as a front, many remained convinced as to the legitimacy of the effort.
Now that the entire thing is over and the dust has settled, what is your explanation of the history?
Do you think (as I do) that it was a scam from the get go, with Tony trading his stock pumping efforts as a shill for TBF for an empty shell in order to take advantage of the internet bubble? Or do you think it started out as a legitimate effort that went south after the bubble burst and they needed to either do 'real' work to survive or find another way to profit?
Or do you have another completely different explanation?
I really think that your exit from the board diminished its value and level of intellectual discussion, I wish you had remained. I look forward to your response if you are so inclined.
best regards,
