The post about asbestos falling from the ceiling tiles when a downstairs roof leaks was a bit of a stretch as well. It's a two story building!

I know we're all anxious for news this week-end, as well as the subsequent PR. It may be a stretch, but the comment on the SEVU website about "Coming to a retailer near you" intrigues me. Not that McBride would ever release information prematurely, but I've got to hope he has learned a lesson by now. The thing is, even though we don't know how soon we may see SecureView in stores, the comment implies that they have done a deal with someone. I would also assume that such a deal would be predicated upon verification of capacity, particularly in light of the delays already experienced. To continue this series of assumptions, I would hope they would fill existing orders before beginning to meet new demands. A big contract could dissuade that, but this is my fantasy so I'm going to assume they ship FIFO.

So.... I'm looking for a PR that states that production is well underway and there is at least one confirmed retail chain committed. I'm hoping it will contain enough meat to satisfy the rational critics. I hope they resist temptation to include any unconfirmed forward looking statements.
