Well there you have a problem, a problem that new investors suffer for years. 90% of the investment board posts are BUYS, and they never change no matter what a stock is doing. It is very rare to find UNBIASED TA., and you sure will not find that in sag3 posts, he is very clearly biased long and in fact uses his so called TA to always give BUY for HDY.
I have traded these markets for over 25 years, started using and developing my TA skills when it was clear fundamentals is totally useless regards timing of buy and sells, in fact about 100% of the people using fundamentals and post on these boards own ONE STOCK, fall in love with it and even totally ugly fundamentals (when a change occurs) is coloured and twisted to a positive spin.
You ONLY hope is to learn TA on boards that cover LARGE CAP stocks (then you are certain they are not trying to manipulate for thier own gain) ask for some resourses where you can learn TA, then after several years of using (you can paper trade while learning) TA you will be able to filter thru the BS like you get here from sag3 on HDY.
The other problem is when someone does post HONEST UNBIASED TA so others can learn the longs in love with thier stock will bash and lie to discredit any poster that gives negative TA on a stock.
I gave a SELL on HDY in the 1.70 to 1.75 area a month ago, i was bashed, then when news came and it gapped open to 1.84 I was called a fool, I was TOLD news trumps TA (this is garabage by the way) and HDY remained above 1.75 for 15 whole minutes.
TRhen 2 weeks ago I gave a SELL ALL SMALL and MICRO CAP stocks as the markets were looking TOPPY and the R2000 was grossly under performing.
I have posted on several boards giving the SELL ALL RALLIES (HDY,PUDA,MNAP,FEEC,BQI,ERHE,NWD,ORS) and that is still in effect, likely will be in effect for many many many months.
I am attacked often by novice because they never like to hear anything criticial about thier great love and as I am a short to mid term trader well it means I SELL their great love.
Some sells I have given that ended my playing some stocks to the long side.
HDY 1.70-1.75
ERHE .89 (did a couple trades after with only small loses gains)
PUDA 7.93
BGI 1.55
MNAP .50 in Sept (it went higher, unexpected high volume)
I do not own any stocks, am 90% cash, 10% short (by being long TZA)
See the real problem is the days of buying and holding anything long term died like 10 years ago, the markets have been for traders......
sag3 will figure that out in a couple years. LOLOL
