IMO

Many traders dont have tools to follow each trades. Only have
L1 quotes and last Trade.

MMs know that. When this am someone made a terrible mistake
and hitted a 0.35 sell so The last trade printed the tape .

Since we have only 2 MMs ( correct me if I'm wrong ,I dont have L2). They easily set the current Bid as they want it. So they set it at 0.30.

For those traders with just L1. It looks like the stock is heading for lower price and the snowball starts with low volume and without bad news!!
