#75479 RE: JMKel #75453

We did rely heavily on Afghans because they knew Tora Bora, a mountainous, geographically difficult region on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

the head of u.s. special forces in afghanistan said you could put 2 divisions into that terrain and they would be like they weren't even there.......that's 20,000 to 30,000 troops

he said that it's valley after valley of grand canyon-like terrain, and two divisions could be "two valleys away" from al qaeda forces, and you wouldn't even know that they were there

like i stated in early '02 after viewing the evidence, which consisted of 3rd party phone calls "the sheik says" or audio tapes that the swedish firm said "we are 95% sure that the tape IS NOT authentic, and if the tape was of better quality, we would have been 100% positive"......this same firm refused to evaluate the next audio tape because they did not want their reputations sullied by the politics of the day

anyone with a hint of common sense can only come to one conclusion.........bin laden is dead!
