What should also be of concern, is, what was RME doing selling shares.
I thought SPNG was buying them back and canceling them.

pretty sure all of this will come out in the SEC investigation

we will soon know the buyback details

but the company never said they were going to buyback ALL of RME's shares. and FWIW, i think we will see that SPNG surpassed the 150 million share buyback number.
