McCain was right! It is lying political trash and the Swiftees were started by Nixon and Colson to discredit Kerry who had become a symbol of the successful anti vietnam war movement in the early 70's. It is the same groups just a longer in the tooth.
Kerry wanted a rapid end to the war in Vietnam. Congress listened. Nixon opposed it.
