I agree with you:

Just look at back in the 80's when Mike DuKrakis, (may have an extra R but it seemed appropriate), ran for Pres. He was NOT in favor of Capital Punishment, but was in favor of paroling murders and rapists ie Willie Horton, who killed while on parole. Ole DuKrakis was asked "would you still be against Capital Punishment if your wife Kitty was Raped and Murdered and they caught the guy?" Well we all know what happened when he failed to answer, (thank god). That idiot while Mass Gov. had raised taxes something like 15 times while he was in office and the state was in shambles fiscally as industry moved out. They then had to get a Rep. Gov in to straighten their mess out!
