While I don't disagree with you, we must be mindful that the actual goal of the commercial is to get consumers to purchase the product, not to alert potential investors of the ticker symbol.
I'm sure there is a fine line between tasteful and tacky. We don't want to cross that line at the expense of a quality commercial.
