Techman - this behaviour is well known since Athlon XP days after Intel joined the BAPCO and has also been criticized by several people. Now AMD is also in BAPCO but the results still depend a lot on a few peak results achieved by apps optimized for certain architectures.
I see BAPCO as just one of many benchmark suites. For me it's ok if reviewers use it as long as it's not the only benchmark used :) That's like diversification on the stock market.
