there should be more excitement here
I'm a little disappointed at the lack of emphasis on tomorrows launch. Seems like Ak was more concentrated on impressing us with baidu, and the global roll out, than in celebrating the first successful launch. I fear that baidu news was strategically placed to raise capitol, and to over shadow any possible missed deadlines. I don't want to jump ahead, tomorrow we'll see what they have for us. But the market is not acting as if we are either launching tomorrow, or that it even cares. Truth is, from a revenue generating stand point, these launches are more or less insignificant. China is the big one. And for it to really work for us, we need baidu to take down it's mp3 search function and really start directing traffic our way.
One thing we do have to remember is what Ak said about chinese music searches are aprox. 85% for non western music. That is a whole other ball game we may need to get involved with. Does anyone remember what Ak said as far as addressing this issue? He did mention something about local music.
