I thought the Govt might have saved them awhile back, but it became clear when the FDIC blocked their bank and made the 'Cease and Desist' order that it wasn't going to happen.

I would have been ok with the Govt saving them though, my bonds would have gone from 8% of par to like 50%+ if they were saved ;).
