Arp, Too much pessimism can be just as dangerous. I became so pessimistic about Neom a few months ago that I almost sold my Neom stock. Thank God I didn't. I know of nothing that was ever built or achieved based on pessimism.

I think it would be short sighted to discount this holiday season as the perfect opportunity to kick off bar codes. Neomedia and the sector as a whole have got their ducks lined up for codes. And there are a lot of new 3g phones coming out over the next few weeks, all pre loaded with bar code reader. One poster mentioned that bar code app as being second most popular app available on one phone.(iphone I think).I think they'll be most popular soon enough.
The brands and retailers are desparate for sales in this rotten economy and to miss any opportunity like this would be almost criminal. The holiday sales reciepts represent a hugh chuck of annual sales. In fact some of the smaller retailers are only open for the holidays.
Many in the tech sector plan intro of new models just for fall sales. Many do alot of last minute scrambling to make it on time. Look for a lot of action starting this week.

Arpvrp,

I am aware of Yorkville having the pan by the handle regarding NEOM, but I think that Yellowjacket scenario is possible, unless, we find out that YA has dilluted way past the controlling 50%.

At this point, we can't tell for sure what is going to happen. But for all of the confusion about the different possibilities/scenarios, I believe we all agree that buying under 2 cents and not above is playing on the safe side (that is a key number in the conversions, options, etc.)

We need to see the next two 10Q to have a more complete picture as the next one will only disclose information pre-Neustar-Scanbuy (correct me if I am wrong). The next one (Nov 15) will show prettier numbers as we closed that quarter in the underworld of subpennies, so the debt must look prettier ;)

There are possibilities, many I would say. YA screwing us, shareholders is one of them. I just believe that they could still make a lot of money without sending us to hell, so I keep my mantra under Yallowjacket scenario. There is no reason for YA to screw us, unless it is just a pervert pleasure they have above making money...or that the barcodes don't gain any traction (which I don't see happening).

All the best,

Vero
