KEN2 regarding SNPS
As a heads up TIACREF did a study looking at the expensing of Stock option a few months back. It was written up in NYTimes ,SNPS was the worst offender.
The top three where :
SNPS
ADBE
ADSK
IF memory serves me correctly the option granted had a possible delutionary impact of over 45% ( Definitely in that ball park.)
TIA was trying to bring pressure to certain companies to bring up these plans to Stockholder vote in cases where the companies had used a loophole to implement their plans without a stockholders Vote.
So if congress passes and implements these stock option expensing legislation, SNPS may be hard hit.
That being said upon reading the article I shorted them and did well only because it was trending in it’s channel, it has exhibited a lot of strength in a snap back as it’s chart Shows IMO.
At this point I hold no position in it. And would be looking to short at the top of it’s channel or if Congressional action is eminent.
