if we waited this long, and they don't launch in a big way, I'm sure they'll have us dreaming together of baidu. Baidu's deadline to implement change is dec 31st. Though I'm pretty sure if they don't have their act together by then , the chinese government will give them some leeway. I have heard from many knowledgeable people that there is no way the chinese gov would allow anything bad happen to baidu, so it's possible we'll be waiting longer. Yesterday I asked an important question, but no one answered because people here don't like important questions. But why exactly does baidu need qtrax? Why would they need a middle man, when they can negotiate their own deal with the labels direct like google did. We've already heard that baidu is talking to the labels direct to find a solution and a model that would work for them. Do they really need qtrax, or is it qtrax that really needs baidu?
