bugsplat

Can't speak for Rufny, but I get mine from stockcharts stock screens. Just know what I'm looking for, so have to scroll through the screeners and find stocks I'm looking for. Get a watch list of 20 or so, and then set alerts. TC2000 is a computer software program that aids in finding these types of charts. I'm testing it now, but not overly impressed. It is $30/mo as well. A lot more to go through with it, but you might look into testing it out for free.

Bugs~Finding these plays for me is a combination of watchlists I've built up over the years+watching the daily volume/% gainers lists+monitoring the active pro-trader boards at places like ragingbull, ihub and silicon investor..You just have to stay alert keep roaming and sooner or later your experience shows you a good risk/reward entry point on the chart:-)Ruf

go to stockcharts.com and check out the predefined screens.
start with high volume gainers, breakout from upper bollinger, adx buy signal, new highs, and they even have candlestick formation scans such as hanging man
