That is the point.....you are screwed....I have been in cusip/name/RS.....and your shares are held until yoiur broker egts the new shares from TA.....

Happens all the time and that is WHY RS are hated.....because mostly they lose value very quickly after split and you cannot react with you shares because you are locked up.....

Especially 1:1000 ratip.....I have never seen a 1:1000 RS increase in value......

My personaly experience was an immediate -60% loss the first day of the RS, and, I could do nothing except scream at my computer and vent to my broker who calmly told me there was nothing I could do until they received the news shares from the TA.......

This is why RS are hated by everyone and extremely volatile.
