Emerald, Since you've worked in the field, just curious if you've ever heard a bio CEO make such a statement as the 30-45 day timeline to finalizing a deal? Maybe Varney is just new to being a CEO, but it seemed like an unusual statement.

I'd love to say I am confident, and in a way I am, but I just have heard too many times the confident story about partnering. I heard it from Roger last summer (2008) " If either of these trials comes through we'll have a deal"---, MV in February" Do you think the upfronts will be enough to get us thru ADHD' I posed...." I think so" his response..." we might need a small financing to bridge some time".....in April. The timelines about SA being changed....I guess I will believe it when I see it. After seeing the Targacept data and news it makes us seem somewhat irrelevant, not because the drugs don't work but the lack of buzz. We have stood still for a long time.
