yes, good point . . . here's the US-Dollar / Gold relationship:



AND . . an interesting look . . . .
the S&P-500 in terms of the US-Dollar Index .. which puts it in World-Terms (relative to the World).
It is very interesting how well the market did during the years 2003 - 2008
and how we are now reaching back up to 2000 levels ...
which don't look as good/high as we thought they were.
