Respectfully the fly in the ointment with your theory is that the CDN partners are not moving to the extent that GEMM,UCAD OR SGGM are.If the percentage gains on these 3 were just buyer sentiment driven I believe similar pps moves would be reflected in the CDN partners.There has been some movement in these due to mostly (I feel) cyclical and/or uranium news but nowhere to the level of the US companies --granted there aren't as many traders with cdn access but I have noticed quite alot that post here and on the rest of I hub so this shouldn't present that much of a difference given the o/s of these cdn partners.
my guess (for the fun of it only as this is just speculation :) is that somewhere around 20% of buying on the 3 is retail with the rest being covering.
However as you have mentioned who cares what is happening as long as we are flying !
