Zacked...I completely disagree. Let's consider this in other terms.
Assume for a moment that the auto industry had never been built and that multiple car companies had recently incorporated and each had just completed plans for their own line of cars. NOTHING from any of these firms has gone into production...yet.
At this point, along the lines of your statement, you could easily say "Hold your horses, we do not know whether our design will sell. We first need to realize revenues in order to determine our success."
However, if you were "the" company that not only engineered its own car style, but also happened to invent the "only" tooled production line of its kind that was "required" across the industry in order to manufacture cars, you could clearly assume you were in line for an exceptional future since every car manufacturer would be required to purchase your tooled system.
Perhaps not the best example (it's a Sunday), but you should get my point.
