what good is less land needed if it uses more electricity to pass water up a vertical system thus making it more expensive to produce algae ? Just something to think about.

Vertical Tubes require a structure to be built and maintained greatly increasing initial costs.

How far apart would the rows of tubes need to be spaced? If you place them too closely .. how much sunlight is lost due to shade created by other vertical tubes?

Will the algae grow any faster if you take away the energy source?

arid marginal land can made into productive and profitable land with the horizontal system at much less ROI, unless fisher is lying ,the NAA is lying
