bravo dudes...how coincidental that you raise those issues at this particular time.
to be completely honest with you, i just abandon a board that i started a few months ago on you-know-where. it was private so there was no frukus. there were 5 peeps there that all thought they wanted to trade technically, but it morphed into a tout board of yesterday's painted bars. i simply told them what i thought and walked away. there was actually one part time trader that would have worked well, but he was too interested in finding black boxes to resolve the conflicts.
i posted nearly every trade, entry-exit, win or loose, TA logic, etc, etc...most replies were kudos, bfd, that's not what i was looking for...
the kind of mix and feedback i'm getting here is it...i don't mind a bitch slap if i'm way off base on a trade...there is no better teacher than experience, just save the spankin for the ladies!
75..i'd like to reply to the daytrade-daily-chart comment...having been an dr. elder study and utilizing his 3x screen method, i find it valuable in whatever time frame it is employed...but then again, i'm know there are more honed skills sets required to be successful.
you hit the nail on the head about the influence of watching tick charts on a swing trade...very destructive, i know. i continually sell too early stemming from intraday influence and scared money...it's hard to sit still with scared money...lol...
why is it scared?..it's 30k trying to support being married w/chillins...since feb...lessons that the market handed out since then have been brutal and the lashes stay with you forever. but i'm still above water so i must be doing something halfass correct!
i'm glad to hear that you guys aren't the typical farmers and you'll have to forgive me if i ever rattle the fences.
