(my gut is that it is always "5 week days". If monday is closed - so be it - that week is considered "Tuesday-Friday")
That is correct, each week ends with the closing data on Friday.
With Weekly charts, the data and charts starting on Monday morning are intra-week, until Friday's close.
In the same way that on Daily Chart, the data is intra-day, until the close that day.
