It's not your typical share buyback, this one is taking the shares and redistributing them into employees hands, so the O/S remains the same. Whether this is good or bad for the stock who knows.

The buyback will reduce the "float", but doesn't affect the O/S since the shares are going into the company's treasury vice being retired.

exactly . a buyback reduces the O/S, oterhwise, its not considered a buyback is it???
