Hello Dave and welcome. Your dad was an integral part of this board for many years and we miss his posts. We call this board the Asylum and it was only appropriate that we have our own psychiatrist, your dad. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Ray

PS: This industry is just starting to heat up and this company, which your dad loved, will be an integral part of it.

Thank you Dave, your presence is much appreciated and welcome.
I hope you enjoy the reward your father earned.
Believing can be a difficult and enduring thing :)
Time is upon us.
There are many here, I am sure you already know who, can provide you with the level of knowledge your father had in this venture.
Good luck - the learning process just does not seem to end :)

Cheers

Hi Dave,

Welcome, and again sorry for your loss.

I'll tell you, aside from my own interests in making money in this stock because I believe in NeoMedia's patents.. it's now even more important to see NeoMedia shine because of your dad. It's weird from my side, because I never knew Dr.Mike face-to-face.. but it was pretty amazing to see the impact he made through a message board.

Let's get NeoMedia moving for your dad.

Best wishes, and very nice to meet you.

- NP

Dave: Thanks for posting. Your Dad was a great guy and I always enjoyed his posts here. He had a love/hate relationship with our little NEOM and it drove him crazy at times, but he always gave us good comments. He also sent me some very good leads privately on other stocks he was well informed about. My sympathies to your family over your loss and please visit as often as you can tolerate the 'Asylum' here. It's an interesting place to say the least, with some great people posting good information, along with the 'crazy' stuff. Take care.

Hello Dave,

I'm very sorry for your loss of your dad, he has been an important part of our NEOM shareholder community for such a long time. I was glad to have been able to meet him in person at the shareholder's meeting in 2006.

As you can tell from following the board for the past week, there is a reason we call our board the Asylum! We have shared a lot being shareholders over the years, some of us longer than others; once you check in it is hard to check out.

Your dad had a strong belief in the patents in this mobile sector, which seems to nearing it's time to shine! We've said for a long time, we're just a little early for dinner..hopefully it is almost ready, and you will be able to enjoy it on behalf of your dad.

Once again, we are very sorry for your loss and miss Dr. Mike.

Welcome aboard Dave!
I never met your father in person, but in the time I could share his presence in this board (and I still feel he is here) I enjoyed his knowledge, charisma, sense of humor (witz) and intelligence. He was a great person.

This is indeed a very...interesting place.

Hold on tight to those shares...we are going to ride the wildest roller coaster ever!!!
That last Press Release is a turning point. There is a lot to be unveiled after this agreement.

My best wishes for you and your sister,

Welcome to the 'Asylum', Dave! Your father was a cornerstone here on the board, that's for sure and he'll be and is sorely missed. I'm very sorry for your loss. So glad you decided to come in.

Strap your seat belt on and hold tight...it's a wild ride! You got a front row seat reserved from the years of "service" your dad put in here so enjoy the view...you and your family deserve it.

Hope you decide to stick around because as you know...

"The end of the story isn't written yet."

Welcome Dave(and sister),

As you can see your father was thought of highly here on this
board. I too enjoyed his comments and also his frustration over our
little gem. But as you can see things are now turning around
and I am sorry that your father isn't here to enjoy this new
excitement that he so much looked forward to.

May the God of peace grant you shalom in the weeks and months ahead.

God bless you both.

Hello Dave,

Dr. Mike was one of us at the asylum. He added that extra dimension for all of us to enjoy. We're all insane in here but it's a good insanity thing we got going. And then once this thing finally move much to our favor, and I believe it will very soon, we'll be cured and become sane again one of these days. I still have my Neom shirt and I'm still looking at Las Vegas.

Dave, thanks for saying hello.

Enjoy the forum! It's the most informative place when it comes to Neomedia. Most of us are in this stock for years, waiting for the technology to evolve. Now it seems that the Neomedia story could turn out well. The next 12 month should be very interesting. Good luck to you, your sister and your family.

Dave,
Here is something you might find valuable. I-HUB has a feature that let's you go back and review all of a poster's messages.

Your Dad started posting on April 22, 2005. He posted 10,406 messages. His last post was on 9/9---a week or so later we began to get nervous because we hadn't heard from him.

You can review his posts by going to the SEARCH feature at the top right hand corner and entering drmyke3 then members then Search

We really miss not hearing from him---he'd be so excited over the news. I like to think that he's still monitoring the board from somewhere peaceful and interesting.

Glad to hear from you, Dave. I know that Mike thought highly of clawmann and he would be a good person to talk to if you have any private questions.

Regards and welcome to I-HUB.

Hi Dave,

Very nice of you to stop in for a visit. I entered this Asylum about the same time as your dad. When Clawmann delivered the sad news I can honestly say that my heart sank and tears came to my eyes.

I never met your dad in person but from reading his many posts over the years I felt like he was as close to me as any of my friends. You have no idea how much he will be missed here. Your dad will never be forgotten and will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

God bless you and your family.

Dave, Nice of you to stop by, your Dad would be happy to know that you are here. I never had the opportunity like other to meet him, he was a visionary like most of us on this thread and had the opportunity to express his frustrations and jubilation of what Neomedia has been going through over the years.
Your Dad was a very kind man, like many others here who helped me and my family out after Hurricane Katrina displaced us.

#188463 RE: screwdriver223 #188388

Welcome to the board Dave. Screwdriver223 sounds like the right kind of name for this place. Most of us have been here for a long time and have laughed, cried, pulled out hair out, and wanted to shout some sense into many business administrator's heads. It has been a trip.

The deal was, that in the beginning we all were pretty sure that we were invested in the right race, but questioned every second of our lives whether we were invested in the right horse in the race. Now, and especially within the last six months, we have extensive and high powered evidence that the mobile advertising space is most definitely the right race. I personnally have put that question to bed. This technical revolution is hot and going to be huge. It will change how society behaves across the globe. That does not mean that it is built out. It isn't. But we are beyond the turning point with it. I don't believe that it can be stopped now.

The issue of the horse named NeoMedia Technologies is another matter. The truth of the matter was that many stars had to line up for NEOM. Many successes acheived by other companies had to create the demand for the technology. And much luck had to come NEOM's way to keep it just shy of receiving a knockout blow from the bare-fisted fight that ensued.

It was very, very, close. It is still fragile, but it is looking like NeoMedia is standing taller and stronger rather than tottering and asking for the smelling salts. NeoMedia has been asking for whole cases of smelling salts for years, historically (thus the crying and hair pulling by us shareholders). In fact, when you review the last five years of NeoMedia history, and compare it to now, things do look like NeoMedia is the correct horse. We are pretty much in the middle of the unfolding of some legal events that make it a stronger case that the rule of the land is that players will have to go through NeoMedia to be in the game. In this kind of postion/status establishment, it is never really a done deal until precedence is set over time. We are in early days yet.

Your father and I were on the same page with this. The potential to reap very large gains is very real. The current financing picture with NeoMedia is the shareholder's number one reason why this share price is still stuck in the mud. There are events that can mitigate this and unlock the share price value. But, with a large holding, you don't need to see one hundred percent of the value unlocked. I would recommend that you start fixing in your heads the point at which you will exit the trade. That phase of the game is coming within the next 24 months in my opinion.

All the best.

Screwdriver223,
I am not convinced you are Dr. Mike's son. Many people show up here with ulterior motives.
I will be more convinced when you state what your intentions are in buying more, selling or holding NEOM shares.
Plus, you have not responded to all the good people here.
Sorry, not to jump on the band wagon, but NEOM has made me very skeptical. Have a 'grate' one!

Dave (aka screwdriver223), I have been a Neomedia shareholder since Feb 2004 and had the pleasure of meeting your father at the 2006 Neomedia Shareholder's Meeting in Fort Myers. Did you know that he started posting on this board on April 22, 2005? After 4+ years of reading his posts and the opportunity to meet him in person, I considered him a friend. He contributed 10,406 posts - some of which were very good due diligence on the mobile marketing barcode space; others were his opinions, which ranged from extremely positive to at times extremely negative. There were times when I thought your father was a little like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde as 180 degree mood swings were common with his postings. I think he regularly used reverse psychology to get a reaction from us. In any case, I will remember him as an intelligent, visionary, caring and compassionate person. I miss him, and am sad that he will not be here to see Neom prosper as I do believe that the recent development with Neustar is a turning point for them. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I wish you the best.
