I was just reading about the boom in uranium mining stocks. You are correct. There is apparently more demand for uranium than supply. I should have caught this trend, but my family's background and investment experience was in gold, silver, oil, gas, energy, and diamonds.
In my case, I know what I know but didn't know about other things because I was never a big fan of anything that produced radioactive waste. Thus, uranium wasn't on my radar screen.
The reason that I entered the chatrooms was to help inform investors which stocks were legitimate and which ones were just being heavily marketed. A majority of investors don't seem to recognize the difference. Consequently, many dogs go up in price and then come crashing down. Then, the good prospects are also dragged down with them.

OT - Gosh TSXminer, could you please tell me the next time you know of a uranium stock that is going from .02 to 1.40 ......?? ;) In retrospect it's easy to pick 'em - my problem predicting - just pulling your chain ...... wish I'd had one of those stocks. ;) Best to you always. d.
