ECOS in the News
Lots of good news out of Illinois. We can safely assume that the two distribution companies had occasion to look into Ecolocap’s technologies and claims in detail, asked for and got proof from demonstrations and that they came away convinced that the two core inventions truly are a step change with very large scale consequences. Shareholders and the public will have to wait until Nov. 3rd, 2009 to get further feedback from the press.
The CNT-Battery distribution rights for “non-wheeled” applications cover a very, very large market. While the press release mentioned wind and solar applications, there was no such mention of the telecommunications infrastructure space. Many cell phone carriers require an enormous number of batteries to provide back-up power to its cellular towers. In fact, new federal mandates are requiring these cellular towers to increase their back-up capacity, making the market larger than that of batteries for cars and trucks.
