1418 GMT [Dow Jones] ExxonMobil's (XOM) acquisitive interest in new West African oil discoveries is unlikely to stop at Kosmos Energy's stake in Ghana's Jubilee and Tweneboa fields, says NCB Stockbrokers analyst Peter Hutton. "Kosmos is too small for them. The move should be seen a precursor of wider interest," more likely a takeover of Anadarko Petroleum (APC) than Tullow Oil (TLW.LN), he says. ExxobMobil's entry into the area will add quality and technical expertise, he adds. Tullow shares +7.0% at 1193p. Anadarko8. (JHR)
