Chris, you are absolutely correct, my mistake. I took a shortcut yesterday counting the weekly bars by 5's which works fine on the daily charts, but of course, not on the weekly charts. In retrospect, probably the July low in 2002 might have been a cycle straddle with the actual low coming in perhaps a month earlier. Using July as the 40wk low at a length of 44 weeks lead to Airedale, Cash and others to mis-time the 4.5yr low that came in Mar 03. Anyway, I wasn't doing Hurst cycles at that time and had to research it in the archives several years ago... Thanks for setting that straight.
