MCD, You stated,"We have known for years that a Recaf test combined with other markers could at least reduce false positives."
Please explain that to Gold will you?
Gold stated just recently,"It is just not possible that a marker like CEA or CA125 if used in general screening and will indicate positive for conditions other than Colon or ovarian cancer respectively, would somehow become a very selective marker for general screening by combining it with a marker that has no selectiviy at all and end up with a test that has ZERO false positives. That is just not possible." http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=42009924
I think that Dr. Moro only went to the ISOBM as a last result to inform [a poster that this can be done.
So what is new you ask. I for one did not know that Dr. Moro could eliminate false positives at a 100% rate in this combination. I also assume that Dr. Moro has been speaking with one or more companies about improving test(s) that are definitely large Current selling markers.
I don't believe he just went off on a whim to show this issue off to the ISOBM.
