The problem is that the audience that you sell to are not the
majority. Among the technically sophisticated that I know, I
find few if any interested in Pentium 4 products. Pentium M,
yes, but they don't like the price. Folks in the know want
Athlon 64 or Athlon FX. If AMD could come up with a Pentium M
chip Athlon 64, that doesn't cost as much and if the vendors
started building Thin and Lights, then I think that would
satisfy those folks too.

Yes, I know about the 3000+ but I haven't seen one nor the
specs with reviews.

A year+ after Athlon was first introduced AMD reached 22% (maybe even 23%) market share. Despite covering the server market, workstation and desktop PC markets with arguably superior chips, AMD has nary a 15%-16% market share at this time. I suspect it's increasing by still not near 22%.
Simply it takes a lot of time with a superior product to de- trench Intel. At least a year or more. I rest my case.
