No, but I hope it was, because the way it was handled, the design, and the choice of host was a hideous way to do business! I don't want to associate my self with a company that would put that site up there.
the extension /index.html is whats used as the second page of website that is accesed by the .com portion
the reason two different pages come up from the domain is that the index.html page was forward to a different server....a very unusual practice. Common to hackers.
a standard employee is not in a position to know if these things are going on and just could be reading what they are told to say and no it would not be misleading since there is no offical announcement anythng else they say could be inside information

the phone number published isnt working but it is also not getting a disconect message(honestly it sounds like the number is pointed over a PRI to a PBX and is not defined)
there is a number that belongs to softnet that was on their old website that does ring to voicemail numbers are still in service
Bottom line....no real people available. No office exists, no clients found.
people on this board have been in touch with the 2 different webhost of softnet and they have confirmed that it is there website and is being paid for
Nowhere have i seen confirmation the websites are owned by Softnet. I guarantee that I can set up a hosting account with a domain hosted in your name and have a website out there in the next 12 hours.
