Either way your argument doesn't make sense from the companies point of view.

It makes perfect sense, and it happens all the time down here in the stock market's basement. SMWF has had a number of "business plans", but it's never been even remotely successful. There really isn't any reason for management to keep on with it, except that it serves as a useful ATM machine for them.

Wait till the name change coming. It will cause a panic among shorts. They will be forced to return NSS shares and cover.
