Imagine a land where innovation and commerce was substantially aided by highly skilled expatriates who came looking for a better way of life. We once marveled at our seemingly endless ability to create and innovate in the USA. What happens when those highly skilled expatriates go home?

We will watch that scenario unfold in the coming decade. I don't believe we will appreciate what we had and how easily we lost our advantage until it is too late to adapt and adjust.
