Add this to the fact that mgmt did NOT have to reveal anything about an SEC investigation.

As a reporting company, they're expected to inform shareholders about SEC investigations.

I'd certainly call it a "material event", wouldn't you?

agreed ..

i find the sequence here intriguing

--

we have a few clues

we know metter presented at the noble
small cap conference on monday june 8th

that conference was held in florida

during that conference .. metter can be heard
on the video telling those in attendance that
sponge has a meeting on thursday with naz ..
and that *it is time to get off the otc bb
*

http://hosted.mediasite.com/mediasite/Viewer/?peid=3bf950b23c3d4cd79150b998f17295be

isn't it interesting the day after that meeting
spng would have that record setting volume day

Date	Open	High	Low	Close	Volume

6/12/09 0.23755 0.2851 0.075 0.17 549,856,144

now <to my knowledge there is no proof that meeting
was ever held beyond what is said at the CC> but then
i have no reason to doubt it was held either :)

they first show as an MM trading in spng in june

in june when the volume traded on spng was 2.9B
ayme was no. 23 out of 40 mm's trading spng

they did 7.9M+ compared to no. 1 .. nite at 1.2B+

in july when volume traded was 1.7B+
ayme was no. 7 out of 39 mm's trading spng

they did 51.5M+ compared to no. 1 .. nite at 576M+

in august when volume traded was 1.3B+
ayme was again no. 7 out of 41 mm's trading spng

they did 48.3M+ compared to nite who did 362M+

http://www.otcbb.com/asp/tradeact_mv.asp?SearchBy=issue&Issue=SPNG&SortBy=volume&Month=6-1-2009&IMAGE1.x=20&IMAGE1.y=0

next week .. we have the info available for the
month of september ~ as of next thursday ~ should
be very interesting to see what is shown for ayme

--
something isn't adding up .. that is for sure

but only those *actively* involved know what that is

there are just too many oddities from the ny post ~
drakeford ..ayme .. D&T and metter's own words at noble
for this to *fit* comfortably in one precise package

This is no kid's game being played right now, not with millions or even billions of dollars being shorted. In most cases like this, shorts begin getting nervous and contact the SEC repeatedly, even to to the extreme of contacting news agencies. There is nothing they won't do if they feel they might need to cover such large positions...NOTHING!!

"I have seen plenty of scams and even now, this just does not add up. There was never a reason to do all the advertising, for that matter even to ever make a product."

You know the reason...all of that moves a hell of a lot of shares through the market.

Thank you for the kind words no_BS :-) Been having a crazy WE and I have a full plate today but I'm trying to keep a conversation going w/ Judd Bagley from Deep Capture. I'll let you know what comes out.

I think today is going to be painful again, but I won't sell, like you I just don't think SpongeTech is a scam, there just has been too much work put into actually building a brand and a company for it to be just a bunch of crooks trying to make a quick buck (not to mention that if it is a scam, the whole management team knows they would be looking at jail time).

I'm unsure about whether the SEC investigation actually does target the company, but I do think that the worse case scenario we are looking at would be for the SEC to fine SpongeTech but let them clean up the mess and get back to running a business.

We'll see, if I'm wrong I'll certainly pay dearly for that :-)

Good Luck To All Longs !
