Sounds the most reasonable theory to me, in the absence of anything that contradicts it. Just got to put it on the backburner, and wait it out, no problem here. Like having money in the bank & we get all the accrued massive interest in one lump sum at the end. Or if it takes too long we could pass it on to our grandchildren & tell them "well it's asleep now but it will awake one day".
