Do you know what percentage of taxpayers receive as much or more in benefits from government then they pay in taxes? Here's the answer.

So the majority of taxpayers receive more from the federal government then they pay. Undoubtedly that group will grow. So we will rely on the smaller percentage to pay for all the growth in government spending....I'd suggest that they are already paying their share and will be shouldering the greater burden and growth in federal spending. So it's only a matter of how much more.

This statement is false. The top 1% control 34% (as of 2004). This number has remained fairly constant since the early 1980's.
