Don Barden owns the Majestic Star I and II casinos -- the least profitable in the state -- at Buffington Harbor in Gary. He and some Gary officials want to move one of the casino licenses to the intersection of Interstates 65 and 94 and open a land-based casino. Barden also wants to sell the second license to a firm that likely would locate a casino near Fort Wayne................
